I'm unable to connect to my financial institution

There are thousands of financial institutions across the U.S., and each has its own systems, security protocols, and rules for authentication. Because of this, connections between apps and banks can sometimes be inconsistent.

To make linking accounts easier, Workplay partners with an account aggregator, Plaid, which maintains secure connections with many banks and credit unions.

That said, not every institution allows third-party access, and even supported banks may experience downtime, system changes, or security updates. As a result, you may occasionally run into trouble connecting your accounts through Workplay.

If you do, check our troubleshooting guide on common linking errors. In most cases, issues are temporary and resolve within a few hours once the bank or aggregator updates their systems.
